The Best Cars To Drive In Orange County
With exotic palm trees, picturesque beaches and the world famous South Coast Plaza nearby it doesn’t get any sweeter than living it up in sunny Socal. Orange County has been frequently portrayed in the media and numerous reality shows as the hottest and trendiest place to live. Many people may think that the beautiful and glamorous residents cruise around in Bentley's and Mercedes Benz's but this isn't necessarily true.. Here is a list of the coolest and most practical cars to drive in beautiful Orange County.
The Trendy And Hip Cadillac CTS
OC residents are known for being trendy and hip and there is no other car on the market that is as cutting edge as the Cadillac CTS. This midsize sedan gets a lot of approving nods and admiring glances from fellow drivers whether you’re at the In N Out parking lot or getting valet service at the most expensive five star restaurants in town. The CTS sports an aggressive and bold appearance due to its angular lines and eye catching chrome grill. Buyers have the option of selecting from two engines; a V6 3.6 Liter with 270 horsepower and an upgraded engine with 304 hp and 273 lb feet of torque. Base cost is around the mid $34k range and may increase depending on the options selected. Your Cadillac CTS Irvine dealer has a large selection of CTS models in stock.
The trendy GMC Terrain
The GMC Terrain is an affordable compact SUV that is ideal for the active Orange County family or individual who is always on the go and the massive 31.6 cubic feet of cargo space is more than enough in order to store his or her golf clubs and sporting goods. The Terrain sports an edgy front grille that is rather “truck-like” in appearance. What makes this sport utility vehicle stand out is its excellent gas mileage which stands at 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the freeway for the 4 cylinder model. There are two engine options; a V4 2.4 Liter with 182 HP and a six cylinder 3.0 Liter for a total output of 264 hp. Despite its affordable price of around the mid $24k range for the base model, the Terrain offers a refined cabin which includes keyless entry, a USB port, XM satellite radio and even a rearview camera.
A Practical and Affordable Hyundai Sonata
Contrary to what you may see on television, not all residents of Orange County are cruising around in a Bentley or other exorbitantly expensive car; due to the high rents and cost of living it makes sense to drive a more economical car. The Sonata is an affordable midsize car that has been garnering plenty of praise for its functional style and premium features. Despite its lower price tag, this vehicle offers top of the line features such as Bluetooth compatibility and XM Satellite radio. The Sonata is propelled by a six cylinder with 198 hp. Even though it only sports a V4, this car still offers a great deal of power and acceleration due to its light weight. Fuel economy is exceptional at 24 mpg in the city and 35 mpg; these are some of the best numbers in its class. The Sonata is competitively priced at around $18,830 for the base model. Driving car with great gas mileage is a smart move in Orange County since you will be doing a lot of driving since all the cities are spread apart. The local Hyundai Sonata Costa Mesa dealer has a large selection of Sonata's to choose from.
Need info on how to remove a radio from a 2001 Hyundai Sonata.Radio plays when it wants to.?
Radio in auto plays when it wants to sometimes plays for weeks on end and other times will not play at all. Automatic antenna is included and will not work either
Go to the hardware store and get this thing called a crowbar.....and hammer it out of there!!!!J/K but you will need some screwdrivers and maye a couple of sockets or socket drivers. First look aound the molding that holds the deck in place for any screws or bolts and loosen then and put in a cup. Pull the ashtray or anything it has under there out and look good! for screws and bolts...remove them. If the molding and deck do not fall out immediately then the molding is probably clipped in place, use a slot(flathead) screwdriver and gently pry the molding off. After that it should be easy to get to the deck and remove it. Might want to get a replacement stereo to put back in...this process is a pain in the ass.
