One of consumer review is Jason Bickford. The following is what he said regarding LXT218 "I'm 24 and just bought our first house. I bought this kit for two reasons. My father bought a Makita set if he first started performing home projects. That set he bought 25 years still works great intended for his purposes. I learned from him that aquiring a quality set of tools will yield great benefits on the span of time, which having the right tools for just a job can make the many difference. I was debating concerning Dewalt and Makita, but this individual who was a company for 15 years said he had difficulty with Dewalt batteries. That pushed me onto the Makita side.
Well Manged to get the set on Friday. After a long daytime on Saturday, I've practically completely built an attic over my garage. Im amazed at how effectively these tools work. That impact driver drove deck screws into old in addition to new wood like butter. I was amazed! This thing even is effective on old beat up screws. Part of my venture involved removing shoddy built-in shelving manufactured from 2x4s and deck screws. Well even though the screws were old and beat up I had been still able to work with those old screws for some low-concern areas.
I had read of which battery powered circular saws have difficulty with jamming and binding... Well I made concerning 30 2x4 cuts yesterday and also the thing lasted longer than I could truthfully. The 1/2" drill includes an incredibly effective plus convenient sleeve for locking bits into the chuck jaws. By hand you can tighten down using a bit way more than you might want to. Overall I'm extatic with this set. Hopefully they work in the process in 10 years while they do today.".
What are some super light road cars?
I am looking at cars like the geo metro and dodge neon. What are some other cars that have manual doors/locks/power steering etc and are super light?
Geo metro is roughly 1750 lbs -- the 3-cylinder engine (dry weight) is only 120 lbs., about the same as a 50 inch vizio plasma TV.
I once replaced the rear engine mount and the cinder block it was being supported on was too low, sagging the engine and making the bolts too far from their support. I simply lifted the entire engine and held it there while a helper tightened the mount bolts.
I also once attempted to pop the clutch and failed...so I pushed the car back up the hill (by myself) and tried again and it worked. Got me to my new job on time, so I can't complain.
Antilock Motorcycle Brakes Go Off-Road (Wired - Autopia)
By Wes Siler, Hell for Leather Husqvarna thinks the next big development in
antilock brakes is off-road. BMW’s Italian-by-way-of-Sweden dirt bike brand
has adapted the BMW S1000RR’s dual-channel ABS for off-road applications. The
system, currently undergoing validation testing on Husky’s flagship TE449,
reportedly makes front wheel threshold braking easier and safer while leaving
the rear free to [...]
