I am getting a 140 amp alternator for my truck and i am going to upgrade the wiring to 1/0 gauge wire i think and i am pretty certain that i should get an inline fuse but how do i go about figuring out what size fuse to get?
Also some of you will say to use the default fuse until it goes out but i cant seem to find it because the wire is completely covered by a split loom wire cover and is mixed in with all other engine wiring so it is hard to track and get to.
I will be getting a new wire that is a little larger gauge and the new wire will be much shorter so i need to move the fuse anyway. Just let me know what you would recommend to use/do
