Have Quality At Reasonable Prices With The HP LaserJet 1022 Printer
The HP LaserJet 1022 printer has been designed for small offices printing needs. Priced at approximately $500, it is considered to be a budget friendly printer. Aside from that, it also has a very low printing cost using the HP 12A Q2612A toner, but gives fast results. Now, let's take a closer look if this device is appropriate for your needs.
As we all know, office printers should print with speed. This HP model can print 19 pages per minute which is already for both black and white texts. This printing speed is considered to be faster than other laser printers under the same class. Other than that, the text's quality is very impressive. We tried some printing fonts that were 4 point small and all of them were very clear. Its quality results and speed were even better than some of the more expensive laser printers have provided.
With a max printing resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, the HP has enough accuracy to handle the details of any image. On top of paper capacity, it should be powerful enough to handle the processing needs of printing text and graphics. The LaserJet has 266 MHz and eight MB RAM that can handle any image or document. It can print the large images and long documents without freezing up.
The LaserJet can make do with various paper types. Paper tray capacity may also be a very important aspect any would-be buyer should look at. Most laser printers under the same price range has a capacity of around 150-200 pages. However, the HP LaserJet 1022 Printer has a capacity of 260 sheets.
The HP LaserJet 1022 Printer lacks any networking capability, but this feature is quite common for most laser printers under its category. It also uses USB 2.0, which is fast enough to handle any kind of data size. This bold step makes sure that the LaserJet will have plenty of shelf life. If you are interested in using the printer in a network, you need to connect it to a dedicated computer via USB.
One of the main reasons why people prefer inkjets is because of power usage. However, the HP LaserJet, with LaserJet 1022 compatible toners, only uses up around 300 Watts of power, making it one the most power efficient entry-level laser printers around. When the HP is on sleep mode, it uses up less than 2 Watts of power. The combination of operational and sleep mode makes this device very power efficient.
The HP LaserJet 1022 printer is a very attractive device for any small office. It has the speed, quality, and low printing cost that most of us will need. This small laser printer might be small, but it provides the most affordable printing cost we have ever seen in any laser printer that cost less than a thousand dollars.
Since offices print a lot of paper work, it is important to keep the printing cost down. The printing cost of laser printers in the same class is around 2.5 cents per page. Even though the HP cost less than $500, it has one of the lowest printing costs we have ever seen in an office printer. A standard 2000-page HP LaserJet 12A cartridge has average cost of $25. However, if you really want to get the most out of your money, you might as well go for the 3000-page yield HP 1022 compatible toners, which cost around $37. The result is 1.25 cents per page for the standard bulk toner and 1.23 cents for the high capacity one.

MicroOLED viewfinder delivers 5.4 megapixels in 0.61-inch monochrome display (Engadget)
Photographers who've spent years looking through the window of a high-end
optical viewfinder may never find an electronic version that fully satisfies
them. But this new MicroOLED EVF may get us closer than ever to an acceptable
digital replacement for the TTL OVF, which will never find a home in modern-
day compacts and mirrorless ILCs. Developed with military and medical-industry
heads-up displays and digital camera viewfinders in mind, the new microdispay
is able to deliver a 5.4 megapixel (2560 x 2048) monochrome image, or 1.3
megapixels in full 16-million color -- all in a 0.61-inch diagonal panel. The
display boasts a top contrast ratio of 100,000:1, 96-percent uniformity and
0.2 watts of power consumption. There's no word yet on when the new tech will
start popping up in enterprise devices and digital cameras, or how much of a
premium it'll carry for electronics manufacturers, but it looks like we're
closer than ever to having an excellent electronic alternative to the optical
viewfinder. Jump past the break for the full PR from MicroOLED.
